The hotel is nestled in a trendy, industrial-style neighborhood that might seem a bit unpolished at first glance but quickly reveals its charm. The area felt completely safe, and its central location makes it an excellent home base for exploring Papeete on foot. Within a five-minute walk, you’ll find the famous local market brimming with fresh produce, crafts, and souvenirs, as well as plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy the city’s vibrant food scene.

While it was unfortunately closed midweek during my stay, the Reeftop Bar is poised to expand its hours as it gains popularity.
